Since the pandemic about 1.9 million dogs are registered in the Netherlands, half a million more than in 2019. Most dog training schools notice it on their waiting list. A popular puppy class is now often booked out months ahead. The administration grows with it and gets a little more awkward every week.

This is where Trainiq helps. Registration and payment happen online. When a group is full, the next registration goes on the waiting list, and as soon as someone drops out, the person at the top of that list gets a booking link. After the last evening the system automatically sends a diploma with the dog's name on it.

Waiting list per group

When a group is full, owners can put themselves on a waiting list. At the next cancellation the person at the top of that list gets a booking link that is valid for 48 hours.

Course blocks of 6 or 8 weeks

The owner registers once and is in for every evening of the block. You tick off attendance per lesson; the diploma follows after the last evening.

Dog's name and special notes

Next to the owner's name, the booking form also takes the dog's name, breed and anything special. The trainer sees it in the session overview.

Diploma in your own house style

The diploma is a PDF in your house style, with logo and signature. It is e-mailed to the owner automatically and stays available in the portal.

Several trainers, own schedules

Per trainer you record which evenings they are available and which courses they teach. Trainiq blocks double bookings automatically.

Payment at registration

The owner pays straight away at registration, through card or bank transfer. Invoicing afterwards is no longer needed.

Does Trainiq have waiting list management for popular trainers? +

When a group is full, owners see a waiting list form instead of a 'full' message. At the next cancellation a booking link automatically goes to the person at the top of the list. That link is valid for 48 hours; if they do not respond, the place moves on to the next person.

Can I plan a course block of 6 or 8 weeks? +

In Trainiq you set up a course block as one course with a session for each weekly lesson. The owner registers once and is in for every evening of the block. Per block you can set its own price and maximum number of dogs, and attendance is tracked per lesson.

Do participants get a diploma at the end? +

After the last lesson Trainiq automatically generates a PDF diploma in your house style, showing the dog's name, the owner, the course, the date and a QR code for verification. The PDF goes to the owner by e-mail and stays available in the portal. You can set an expiry date if you want, but for dog diplomas that is usually not needed.

Does Trainiq work with several trainers with their own schedules? +

Every trainer gets their own availability schedule. When planning a session, Trainiq only shows the evenings that trainer can do, and double bookings are blocked. Trainers log in to their own portal where they see today's sessions; attendance can be ticked off by hand or via a QR scan on the diploma.

Can I store the dog's name with the booking? +

Every booking has a notes field where you enter the dog's name, breed and anything special (for example medication, an allergy or a behaviour note). That information comes back in the trainer's session overview, on the diploma, and in the confirmation e-mail to the owner.
